SIGA
SIGA develops, produces and markets adhesives, adhesive tapes and roof and facade sheeting for insulation of building shells. Use of these innovative products saves time and provides the utmost protection against construction damage. SIGA supports the specialists who use its products and the creation of airtight, windproof building shells with active training and instruction of tradespersons.
Today, around 50% of global energy requirements stem from heating and cooling buildings. This impacts on the environment and speeds up climate change. We are committed to creating energy-efficient buildings so that this development can be stopped. SIGA’s vision is a world in which buildings do not lose any energy, and its 500 members of staff in 22 countries work day after day to make this vision a reality.
SIGA’s vision has made the company a pioneer in the North American construction sector. The most successful products on the Canadian market and throughout North American are the Wigluv adhesive tape and the Majvest facade sheeting.
SIGA is a family-run company and was founded in 1966. It is owned by brothers Marco and Reto Sieber, with Patrick Stalder its CEO since 2014. The headquarters and production site are in Ruswil, Switzerland, with a second production site in Schachen, which now boasts a new innovation center occupied by SIGA since the end of 2018.
