RTAG, a real estate service provider based in the St.GallenBodenseeArea, has broken ground in a project to build its new company headquarters. As detailed in a press release, the architect’s office göldipartnerarchitekten ag from Altstätten in the canton of St.Gallen is responsible for planning and constructing the building, which will comprise office space covering an area of 1,000 square meters. The new headquarters offer space for 40 office workstations across three floors. As the press release explains, the building itself is designed to offer a functional and aesthetic focal point on Churerstrasse, one of the gateways to Altstätten, in addition to placing an emphasis on environmentally friendly design. Heating and cooling are to be provided by geothermal heat pumps and a photovoltaic system. The envelope of the building features wooden cladding as part of the façade on the upper floors. Native plants are to be included in the surrounding area, while an extensive green roof is to be installed on the new building. The windows installed in the new building, which are a mix of wood and aluminum, should also be designed with environmental compatibility in mind. It is expected that the company will be able to move into its new headquarters in summer 2025.

The decision to remain in Altstätten and plan a new building is totally logical, as Roger Stieger, founder and third partner of RTAG, explains in the press release. “Our roots are in Altstätten, we have grown from here and we want to continue developing successfully from here in future”, he concludes.
