Webinar: FTA between the EFTA states and India

India’s economy is rapidly growing at an impressive rate of 7%, buoyed by government initiatives in the infrastructure and manufacturing sectors. This ensures that India remains a must market for Swiss and Liechtenstein companies. Factors such as demographic advantage, innovation mindset, robust domestic market and a high level of digital adoption add to the attractiveness of the Indian ecosystem. The FTA, therefore, creates an enabling framework for strengthening our bilateral economic partnerships in the new era.

To mark the significance of this occasion, together with Embassy of Switzerland in India, Swiss Business Hub India, and Swiss Indian Chamber of Commerce, and in collaboration with economiesuisse, Swissmem, and Swissrail Industry Association, we organized a webinar to provide insights about the newly signed Free Trade Agreement.

Key speakers and experts shared their views and highlighted the FTA’s potential impact on various industries of interest to Swiss and Liechtenstein companies.
