As part of its strategy of staying close to its customers, Siveco Group, a publisher and integrator of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software for the Coswin industry, continues to expand its network of subsidiaries and has established a branch in Fribourg in December 2020.

The canton of Fribourg was chosen by the company as it is at the crossroads of French and German-speaking Switzerland and will enable Siveco to be closer to its customers and to develop the Swiss domestic market. Along with the technological development of the Coswin Smart Generation CMMS offer, this new subsidiary will aim to forge strategic partnerships with the local industrial and academic partners.

A close relationship with the Swiss industry

Siveco Group has taken a new step in the long-term proximity it wishes to maintain with its customers. After Brazil, China and Italy, the group has recently obtained the necessary regulatory authorizations to open its tenth subsidiary, Siveco SA, in Fribourg. The company already has a long history of working with major local names such as Firmenich, Speno and the Swiss subsidiaries of the Vicat Group.

Alessandro Fichera, who has been appointed Managing Director of Siveco SA, will manage the subsidiary, and explains that "Switzerland has a very powerful economy, with particularly strong sectors such as pharma, chemicals, healthcare, infrastructure and energy. These are very attractive areas in search of innovative solutions to improve their maintenance management. Furthermore, there are interesting opportunities to build strategic and technological partnerships, especially with EPFL.”
