DayOne Conference: shaping the future of health in Europe

In its sixth edition, the DayOne Conference will once again be the showplace for new insights, bright ideas and strong opinions to inspire Europe’s innovators who want to shape the future of health.

After the welcome by Kaspar Sutter, governing council of the canton of Basel-Stadt and Head of the Office of Economy and Labour, we will hear about the future of digital health in Europe, as well as its challenges.

In the first session will start with the presentation of the patient champions and their challenges that have been identified and curated by the industry consortium of the DayOne Health Hack.

In the second session, we will learn from great innovators how to move towards a more patient-centric and digital future in healthcare. We will hear about their initiatives on health data, cutting-edge technology, research innovation and new care models. To conclude the second session, we will present the exclusive findings of the Lancet & Financial Times Commission report “Governing health futures 2030: growing up in a digital world”.

After lunch, you are invited to engage in different open innovation sessions. You have the opportunity to:
– work together with the patient champions from the DayOne Health Hack to better understand their challenges and find solutions.
– challenge and support a selection of Europe’s digital health startups from the DayOne Accelerator engaged in pain management.
– learn from experts from Deloitte about different scenarios that will lead us into the health data future and what that means for Europe’s innovation strategy.

In the final session, we will share the experience. Industry experts and entrepreneurs will discuss how the corporate world can best collaborate with startups and vice versa. Our special guest speaker will then serve some food for thought.
