COVID-19 insights Italy: A practical analysis

The number of coronavirus infections is increasing worldwide, and with it uncertainty - not in the least because the situation changes almost every half day. The Federal Office of Public Health and the cantons are issuing directives, the global economy is at the same level as the financial crisis of 2008, global supply bottlenecks and shortfalls are occurring and precautionary travel and work regulations are coming into force in a number of countries and companies.

Italy was one of the first countries who had to deal with the COVID-19 emergency. The country proved to be dynamic in all situations and managed to cope with the health situation very well. Despite a considerable impact to the economy, Italy has always been crisis resistant and will certainly manage the recovery despite structural changes in many sectors.
