Geistlich Pharma AG has launched the Geistlich myGuide education program for dentistry, according to a statement. It is reported to be the world's first complete online learning journey in regenerative dentistry. During the course, clinical professionals can learn from leading experts in the field of regenerative dentistry and continue their education irrespective of time and place. The project’s slogan is “Learn from the best with Geistlich myGuide”, according to the Wolhusen-based company. The course is initially only available in English.
The innovative concept gives clinical professionals from all over the world the opportunity to learn from the best experts in the field of regenerative dentistry. According to the company statement, a total of 27 internationally renowned experts created the content. The scientific partner for Geistlich myGuide is Professor Ronald E. Jung, Director of the Clinic of Reconstructive Dentistry at the University of Zurich. The structure, scope and learning objectives of the educational journey were developed under his guidance. “Geistlich myGuide puts patients first and offers regenerative solutions for all indications,” according to Jung in the statement. All course content builds on earlier content, ensuring a structured learning process that is very much geared towards everyday clinical practice. Pure theory modules were deliberately avoided, says Jung.
