EU AI Regulation with implementation deadline until 2026

In March 2024, the EU Parliament adopted the world's first regulation on artificial intelligence (AI). The aim is to protect society in an environment with rapidly changing technologies. The comprehensive EU regulations will classify AI systems into different risk groups in future. The classification ranges from minimal risk to applications that are banned altogether. Depending on the classification, these must be officially certified. Abuses will be fined up to 7 % of annual global turnover. Our guest speaker Kevin Schawinski, CEO and founder of Modulos AG, will explain the new regulation, how to handle it and initial preparation tips for export-oriented SMEs.
