The company was founded in 1961 and remains under family ownership to this day. More than 100 members of staff work at the headquarters in St. Gallen, and REGLOPLAS oper-ates in more than 50 countries worldwide, with its own sales companies and selected part-ners. International knowledge transfer is facilitated through continuous training and infor-mation exchange with the customer on site, with the aim of enhancing the consultancy and service role of its sales partners for practical, customer-specific solutions. The REGLOLAS network, which has been built up over many years on a basis of trust, is a fundamental key to success. Exports generate 92 percent of revenue. In 2017 REGLO-PLAS was recognized for its international success, winning the Export Award.
The company specializes in environmentally-friendly temperature control solutions opti-mized for the individual customer. REGLOPLAS is the global market leader in the relevant market, and temperature control devices from REGLOPLAS guarantee consistently high product quality in the manufacture of finished goods in the die-casting and plastics indus-tries. Whether it's for automobile manufacturers, technology corporations, the pharma-ceutical industry or even chocolate factories, each temperature control process demands tailored products based on superior, innovative technologies. REGLOPLAS thus invests around 8% of its turnover in research and development.
Continuous company growth demands modern process adjustments in order to guarantee customers remain satisfied in the future as well. In this regard, a new REGLOPLAS com-pany building is planned for 2019, along with a change of location within St. Gallen.
