Based in Stans in the canton of Nidwalden, the aircraft manufacturer Pilatus has reached an agreement to acquire the MRO activities for Pilatus aircraft from the US firm Aero Centers Epps. To this end, around 40 staff who work in this area at DeKalb-Peachtree Airport in the US State of Georgia will join the Pilatus team, further details of which can be found in a press release.

Aero Centers Epps was taken over last year by SAR Trilogy Management, which is based in Orlando, Florida. The new owner has now opted to divest the MRO activities for Pilatus aircraft. In future, Aero Centers Epps will focus on the maintenance of aircraft made by other manufacturers.

“With this acquisition, we want to safeguard and further improve the continuity and quality of our award-winning services on the southeast coast of the USA”, comments Markus Bucher, CEO of Pilatus, in the press release. Aero Centers Epps will continue to operate the Pilatus Service Centers until the transaction is finalized.
