The independent jury, composed of representatives from business, science and media, selected three finalists for the 2017 Export Award to be honored at the Forum for Swiss Foreign Trade:
- iNovitas AG, Baden-Dättwil: iNovitas delivers three-dimensional infrastructure images to your door
- Wyssen Avalanche Control AG, Reichenbach: The potential of avalanche protection with explosive pylons
- Regloplas AG, St. Gallen: Ensuring the right operating temperature
The jury has selected Regloplas AG as the winner. Their specialty is environmentally friendly, customer-specific optimized temperature control solutions. The company’s success is based on the high quality of their products, the expertise of their employees and their close relationship to customers. They maintain this strong customer relationship with their own service organizations in more than 50 countries as well as subsidiaries in Germany, France, the USA and China. 92 percent of their revenue is generated through exports. All research and development is carried out in St. Gallen: Regoplas invests around eight percent of its revenue in development so that it can remain a global leader in the future.
Ruth Metzler-Arnold, Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board at S-GE, presented the trophy during today’s ceremony at the Foreign Trade Forum. “Regloplas AG combines strong customer relationships with a strong practice of investing in innovativeness and in its location in Switzerland. In this way, recognizing Regloplas AG with the Export Award turns the spotlight back on our excellent SMEs,” says S-GE’s Chairwoman. “The Regloplas AG story also shows how SMEs can be internationally successful despite a strong Swiss franc, which makes it an educational example as well.”
