Cointract awarded swiss made software seal of quality

The crypto trading platform Cointract has been awarded the “swiss made software” label. With this seal of quality, the company of the same name affirms that Cointract products are developed and manufactured in Switzerland.

Headquartered in Knutwil in the canton of Lucerne, Cointract AG is a new addition to the platform swissmadesoftware.org, further details of which can be found in a press release. The platform is a valuable resource for users who are keen take aspects such as digital sovereignty into account for ICT procurement processes, as it lists more than 1,100 companies that have been awarded the “swiss made software” label in addition to 800 documented products and services.

The label states that Cointract’s computer-supported services were both manufactured and developed in Switzerland. The seal of quality from swiss made software GmbH aims to promote Swiss innovation and is awarded after examining the criteria specified by the Federal Council, the Swiss federal government, concerning the quality of Swissness.

Cointract offers applications for smartphones to purchase cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple as well as stablecoins can be acquired by way of these innovative investment opportunities. The company intends to continuously expand its offering, with the aim of “making the blockchain world accessible to everyone” at all times, as Cointract co-founder Markus Wermelinger explained to the newspaper “Luzerner Zeitung”.
