Swiss Competence in Timber Construction

Swiss Competence in Timber Construction

Fire Resistance and Moisture Monitoring

Higher, further bigger is also possible in timber construction, new technologies enable new shapes and constructions. But what about fire resistance and how can buildings be protected from moisture? Switzerland has a long tradition in building with timber and are not only building the most complex structures in timber, but are also leading in engineering the most complex projects worldwide.

On 26th January 2023, 150 international guests, specialized in design, architecture, engineering and urban planning are expected at the Swiss Embassy in London. Four leading companies in timber construction, moisture management and fire retardants will illustrate the obvious advantages and hurdles in building complex timber structures.
