Think logistics 2023

THINK LOGISTICS is the leading yearly logistics event in the Dominican Republic, gathering more than 200 key decision makers across industries, academia and the public sector.

This year the event will have three presentations by world renewed experts, focused on supply chain mega trends, logistics 4.0 and the application of global logistics trends to the Dominican Republic as a regional logistics hub.

The event starts with introductions by H.E. Rita Hämmerli-Weschke, Ambassador of Switzerland to the Dominican Republic and Gaetan Bucher, President of the Swiss Dominican Chamber of Commerce and Tourism.

Terry Esper PhD, Professor of Logistics at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business will make a presentation entitled "5+ Supply Chain Mega Trends to Watch in Shaping Contemporary Logistics Operations".

Francisco Dominguez, General Manager of DR Trade, will make a presentation on Logistics 4.0 and the different technologies behind it and their applications.

Alexander Schad, CEO Schad Logistics and President Dominican Association of Logistics Operators will make a state of play presentation of the Dominican Republic as a regional logistics hub and the next steps being taken to consolidate the country's regional positioning. 

After the presentations there will be a panel with the speakers and two more industry leaders to discuss the challenges and opportunities behind the global supply chain transition. 

Please note Spanish is the main language of the event, BUT the key note speaker will be making his address in English.
