The start-up Invenda, which is headquartered in Alpnach in the canton of Obwalden, is expanding in the Middle East. To this end, it has agreed a strategic partnership with the Dubai-based marketing firm Yazle, further details of which can be found in a press release. Yazle intends to use the vending machines offered by Invenda, which come with digital billboards, to place advertising. In this context, the focus will be on centrally located vending machines in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia.

Invenda develops both hardware and software for vending machines that allow external partners to tap into a vending machine network where they can place dynamic, data-based advertising campaigns. The start-up facilitates programmatic digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising, in which the benefits of website campaigns are transported into public spaces.

“We are thrilled to partner with Invenda, a leader in the programmatic DOOH space”, comments Jamie Atherton, Managing Director at Yazle, in the press release. In partnership with Invenda, his company is keen to elevate the programmatic DOOH advertising space across the region.

Invenda was founded in 2017 and recorded strong growth during the Covid-19 pandemic in particular. Its clients include companies such as Mars Wrigley, Coca-Cola, Selecta and Valora.
