Lucerne International School, which was founded in August 2021, is opening a new campus in Root. As detailed in a press release, the new campus, which is located in the D4 Business Village Conference Centre, should help to illustrate the “remarkable growth and innovation” of the international educational institution.
At the opening on March 4, 2024, founding director Kamran Baig will provide an overview of the hybrid education model from its inception to the current state of development. Esther Chesterman, CEO of the National Extension College, will discuss the successful partnership with the Lucerne International School, while Nicola Fox, Regional Development Manager for Pearson Edexcel, will look to highlight the role of the British curriculum in providing a solid foundation for students. And speaking of students, Matilda Holmberg from the class of 2023, will speak about her experiences at the Lucerne International School.
“We believe that education should be for the future of our younger generations and not based on the past”, as Kamran Baig explains in the press release.
