Antares Vision has founded a Swiss subsidiary based in Lugano in the canton of Ticino. Headquartered in the region around Brescia in Lombardy, Italy, the international technology company joined the Lugano-based Lifestyle Tech Competence Center (LTCC) at the Switzerland Innovation Park back in the spring of this year as an associated company and competence partner for the digitalization of products and supply chains. In addition, since this time Antares Vision has been co-financing an Innosuisse project on the topic of process and product sustainability in the fashion sector together with the LTCC and the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI), further details of which can be found in a press release.
According to Carlo Terreni, LTCC President and Partner of Loomish M&A Adivsory in Manno in the canton of Ticino, the company was “so impressed with our format, the Ticino ecosystem and the local talent pool” that it decided to open offices at the Dagorà Lifestyle Innovation Hub in Lugano. Antares Vision is also setting up a co-working space in the hub, which is part of the Switzerland Innovation Park. In addition, the company intends to keep an eye on emerging talents in the region who specialize in the development of digital platforms.
At this stage, Antares Vision, in partnership with SUPSI, is keen to “invest in the creation of an end-to-end digital traceability platform for the fashion sector”, comments Attilio Bellman, SDI Smart Digital Innovation Director at Antares Vision. The group will bring its experience and expertise in the pharmaceutical industry to the table for this project.
