Hybrid Seminar: Swiss Drone Industry Session (25 Feb 2022, 7:00-8:30 AM CET)

Switzerland offers a flourishing and self-reliant technology ecosystem that comprises well established
companies, startups, suppliers, leading research, an experienced talent pool and a pragmatic regulatory
framework.

Some pragmatic and permissive regulations, SORA (Specific Operation Risk Assessment) and U-Space, were
first introduced in Switzerland and are now shaping drone regulations of the EU and the beyond. The capacity
of the Swiss drone industry has reached USD 570 million in 2021, and 45% of products and services are
currently being exported. The Swiss Post first commercialized its drone delivery in 2017, and there are now
renowned companies like senseFly, PIX4D, Verity, Matternet, and many more.

The Swiss Drone Industry Session will address drone regulations and its ecosystem, and look for possible
cooperation with Korean R&D and business partners.
