The Red Dot Award is “the world’s most renowned design competition”, according to a press release issued by Lista Office LO. The office equipment firm, which is based in the St.GallenBodenseeArea, has been presented with the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2020 for its “LO Next” room divider and shelving system.
Lista Office LO produces the LO Next solution at its production facilities in Degersheim and Arnegg SG. The company also has a Cradle-to-Cradle certification, meaning that its production processes comply with the requirements of the circular economy. Open spaces can be structured using the flexible room divider and shelving system, while display spaces and storage areas can also be created. The individual modules can be separately and functionally used from both sides. “The diverse back panels, drawers and doors – with an optional locking system – can be extended or switched around in a matter of moments, no tools required”, the office equipment manufacturers write. As the individual modules can be flexibly linked, the possibilities are “practically endless”.
The Red Dot Award is awarded in three different categories, namely Brands & Communication Design, Design Concept and Product Design. It was in the latter of these disciplines that Lista Office LO was awarded the prize for the design quality of its flexible room divider and shelving system.
