Clients and Swiss Business Hubs
Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE) works closely with various federal agencies. The State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO commissions S-GE to promote export, and especially that of SMEs. The Liechtenstein Office of National Economy also mandates S-GE to support Liechtenstein exporters. In addition, SECO and the cantons mandate S-GE to promote Switzerland as a business location abroad.
The global network of Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE) also includes S-GE’s official representation in 27 target markets and regions (23 Swiss Business Hubs, 4 Trade Points). Swiss Business Hubs enjoy a special status in the target markets, since they form part of Swiss embassies or consulates; the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA), which presides over all Swiss embassies and consulates, is S-GE’s most important contractual partner alongside the State Secretariat for Foreign Affairs (SECO).
Service providers and experts for exporters
S-GE’s global network of various private export service providers plays a key role in supporting exporters. Whether it be an export or customs expert, specialized law firm or management consultancy, marketing agency or industry expert, they all help SMEs with their international business in a practical way. You will find our detailed overview of support at home and abroad here.
Strategic partners, chambers of commerce in Switzerland and abroad, and industry associations
S-GE enters into strategic partnerships with companies that offer important services to exporters in order to add value together.
In addition, S-GE maintains close business ties with 20 bilateral chambers of commerce around the world as well as all cantonal chambers of industry and commerce to offer Swiss and Liechtenstein SMEs a tight network of contacts in their search for local experts, partners and customers. It also enters into partnerships with industry associations and sector organizations.
Institutional partners and colleges
In addition, S-GE collaborates with various institutional partners such as SERV, Presence Switzerland, Switzerland Tourism, Innosuisse as well as the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) and its swissnex network to exploit synergies.
As part of its location promotion, Switzerland Global Enterprise also works with regional organizations in the cantons, the Basel Area, the Greater Geneva Bern Area, the Greater Zurich Area and the St.Gallen Lake Constance Area as well as with all 26 cantons.
