BioArk Monthey is a technology site specially dedicated to life sciences. Thanks to its specialized infrastructure and its network of competencies, it enables SMEs and start-ups active in biotechnology and diagnostics to successfully pursue business opportunities.
BioArk provides dedicated services and equipment to facilitate the industrialization and commercialization of specific products. The technology site has notably housed two development platforms since the end of 2015. The first is dedicated to rapid diagnostic tests and the second to the manufacturing of ''biological'' drugs.
BioArk I, BioArk II and now BioArk III
Following a first addition in 2015, the BioArk Monthey technology site is once again expanding with the addition of a third building. This new high-tech construction will host start-ups, SMEs, spin-offs and innovative projects in the field of life sciences.
To date, BioArk provided approximately 64,580 square feet of usable space between its first two buildings, BioArk I and II. BioArk III, currently under construction, will offer some 53,800 additional square feet of usable space.
Cutting-edge solutions in the heart of the Health Valley
Designed to provide the greatest possible flexibility in its use, BioArk III will offer unique multi-functional facilities, including fully equipped and secure "plug and play" laboratories, office space, cGMP clean rooms for biotech operations (Class C) and many other state-of-the-art facilities.
Located in the heart of the Monthey industrial site, BioArk benefits from and contributes to the international renown of the biopharmaceutical sector in Valais and its stakeholders. Moreover, it is part of an internationally renowned region and network : the Health Valley.
