b_smart selection has drawn up plans to open a new hotel in Amriswil in the canton of Thurgau. In a new building consisting of two apartment buildings in addition to a residential and commercial building, 20 rooms are to be furnished in line with the b_smart motel brand, the hotel operator from Gamprin-Bendern has now announced in a press release. Methabau, which is based in Hefenhofen to the north of Amriswil, has been commissioned by b_smart selection to carry out the construction work. The new motel is scheduled to open its doors to the public in 2024.
“After opening the new b_smart hotel Arbon in summer 2023, we are pleased to announce that we will also be opening a second hotel in the Arbon district”, explains Marco Weishaupt, Chairman of the Board of Directors of b_smart, in the press release. “The b_smart motel Amriswil is the perfect addition to the market in the canton of Thurgau and we are delighted to have found a strong and local partner in Methabau”, he adds.
b_smart selection was founded in 2014 and currently operates 17 accommodation businesses in Liechtenstein, German-speaking Switzerland and Austria. The b_smart motels concept is based, among other aspects, on guests being able to independently check in and out via a terminal at any time of the day or night. “b_smart is more than just a hotel operator”, according to CEO Heinrich Toldo, who adds: “We are setting new standards as a service provider with our own operations and b_smart services alike”.
