Micronarc, an initiative founded by the seven cantons of Western Switzerland, actively contributes to the development and promotion of the region’s scientific, technical, and economic status in the micro and nanotechnology sector.
The cluster, seamlessly intertwined with the region’s educational, research and development (R&D), technology transfer, and start-up infrastructure, represents a powerhouse of innovation. The Micronarc platform’s objective is to project and valorize Western Switzerland as a hub of excellence in the micro-nanotechnology sector, implementing measures to facilitate knowledge transfer and innovation.

Micronarc is uniquely placed as a communication and exchange platform in a distinct competence cluster. - Grouped booths: At various professional events and exhibitions within the domain, Micronarc offers “turnkey” spaces for exhibiting companies on collective stands. The shared booth is managed by Micronarc’s team, designed primarily for small and medium companies (SMEs).
- Thematic workshops: Micronarc fosters experience sharing and resource pooling by regularly organizing public and professional events such as conferences, thematic workshops, collaborative working groups, round tables, networking moments, and sectoral studies.
