The SIX Swiss Exchange newcomer SoftwareONE has presented healthy financial figures for the 2019 financial year. The company doubled sales to 7.6 billion Swiss francs, as revealed in a press release. Gross profit grew by 4.3 percent to 737.2 million Swiss francs. SoftwareONE generated net profit for the year totaling 125 million Swiss francs, up from 78.2 million in the prior year.

The 2019 financial year was shaped by the IPO and takeover of Comparex, a German IT company. According to information in the press release, the integration of the company went to plan and actually produced greater synergies than initially expected in the year under review.

“We achieved solid performance in 2019 and at the same time substantially enhanced the scale, efficiency and profile of our global software and cloud technology platform”, comments Dieter Schlosser, CEO of SoftwareONE, in the press release. He then explained that the company completed two major strategic steps in 2019 with the acquisition of Comparex and the IPO.

SoftwareONE is headquartered in Stans and employs around 5,400 staff around the world. The company is one of the largest re-sellers of Microsoft products, according to its own data. Moreover, it also sells software developed by SAP, IBM and Oracle. In so doing, SoftwareONE helps its customers to select and purchase the right software, while it also takes care of the software licenses as well. In addition, SoftwareONE offers an ever-greater portfolio of services, including those for the cloud.
