Pilatus has delivered its 50th PC-24 business jet to an American client. The jet type is certified in more than 10 countries, with a global fleet now exceeding the 14,000 flight-hour mark, according to the company. The PC-24 is used by charter operators, public companies, private individuals, air ambulance operators and government authorities, and the demand for compact jets remains high, writes Pilatus.

While Pilatus continues to take orders for the jets, it is also analyzing feedback from the first PC-24 customers over the past year. Using this feedback, the aircraft manufacturer is developing new interiors ideas for the cabin.

At the National Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) at the end of October, Pilatus will unveil a PC-24 with a forward galley designed to provide additional storage space for coffee, ice, beverages and catering. The galley will be modular and interchangeable with the currently available coat closet.

Pilatus is also working on a retrofit option that allows the lavatory to be placed in the rear of the cabin. More than a few operators have expressed an interest in this option, according to the statement.

“The Super Versatile Jet was designed to provide tremendous flexibility, a quality which delivers added value to the light and midsize jet market,” commented Thomas Bosshard, CEO of Pilatus subsidiary Pilatus Business Aircraft Ltd. “The feedback from our customers confirms that the PC-24 hits a sweet spot of capability that no other business jet can match.”
