Wilco obtains new assembly hall

Wilco will now be assembling its laboratory testing equipment in Factory 2, a new hall that is in close proximity to its main site in Wohlen in the canton of Aargau. It provides more space to meet increased demand, even for large inspection machines.

Wilco has obtained Factory 2. According to a press release, assembly of Wilco laboratory testing equipment will now take place in this hall spanning 400 square meters. It is 300 meters away from the headquarters of the company, which was established in 1971. Over the years, Wilco has become a specialist in leak testing machines.

According to information provided by the company, assembly needed to be relocated due to “positive sales development”, which also includes large inspection machines. This had led to space issues in the former assembly areas.

Furthermore, the company states that all materials required are now located centrally. This means that all logistical concerns are now in one place. According to Wilco, this optimizes assembly processes and increases productivity. Customer approval of laboratory testing equipment will now also take place in Factory 2.
