The Basel start-up qipp has opened a branch in Berlin. As part of its expansion plans, it also has a new name: the company is now called Allthings, just like its real estate platform.

qipp AG developed an intelligent platform that enables digital communication among property owners, property managers and tenants. The app includes a variety of digital services related to living and working in buildings, leading to significant cost savings in operating a building and increased property value, says the Basel start-up in a statement.

The company is now consolidating its brands and launching a new look: using the name of its real estate platform, qipp AG is now called Allthings. The new change came into effect on 1 September.

The start-up also announced that it has opened a subsidiary in Germany, based in Berlin. Its existing development and customer service office, which is located in Freiburg im Breisgau in southwestern Germany, will be integrated into the German subsidiary.

“We are pleased that by expanding into Germany, we will now be present in Europe’s largest real estate market. This will generate growth opportunities for our platform,” said founder and CEO Stefan Zanetti.
