bexio wins over Credit Suisse

The start-up bexio has won over another Swiss bank with its software connecting bookkeeping with e-banking.

The start-up from the St.GallenBodenseeArea launched the first Swiss-wide interface between bookkeeping software and e-booking just 15 months ago, according to a statement. Following Raiffeisen, PostFinance, UBS and the Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB), Credit Suisse is also now taking part in the solution from bexio.

The solution is geared at small businesses and enables them to avoid the tedious process of reconciling orders with accounts. “The fintech trend also reaches small businesses,” said bexio CEO Jeremias Meier.

But the start-up with its 50 employees and 8,000 customers is already focusing on further plans and will soon offer an interface to the Thurgauer Kantonalbank.

“We will continue to automate bookkeeping more and more and allow small businesses and their accountants to have a day-to-day overview of their finances,” said Meier.

As the solution does away with double entries, it saves small businesses a considerable amount of time and effort.
