The German software firm Bissantz has founded a dedicated subsidiary in Switzerland. The new Bissantz AG will be located in Spreitenbach in the canton of Aargau. According to a press release, the key factor in the decision to set up a new company in Switzerland was rising demand for business intelligence solutions and services in addition to increased success on the Swiss market.
Headquartered in Nuremberg, the German software firm has been active in Switzerland since 2003. The new Spreitenbach location should serve to improve customer service.
Bissantz specializes in solutions for data analysis, planning and reporting. Its main product is DeltaMaster, an integrated business intelligence software solution, which, as the press release explains, is used by both small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as large corporates. A particular focus for Bissantz is on automating business analyzes by leveraging the advantages offered by Artificial Intelligence (AI). The company was founded in 1996 and remains owner-managed and self-financed to this day.
Holger Hohgardt, member of the Board of Directors, believes that the technology developed by Bissantz offers a “crystal-clear, stringent concept for data-driven corporate management”. In addition, Hohgardt also explains that there is a focus on the conditions that allow people to perceive and process numbers in an optimal manner, before adding that this approach is “unique and ties in perfectly with the requirements of the Swiss economy”. Hohgardt is a Senior Lecturer and Program Director at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) and, according to the press release, can call upon experiences gained across various industries, especially the financial sector. Chairman of the Board of Directors is Bertram Küppers, who is also CFO at Bissantz & Company.
