Water is becoming an increasingly scarce resource in Ghana. This is due to population growth, urbanization and the expansion of irrigated agriculture.
At the same time, water pollution is increasing due to industrialization. For Ghana's drinking water supply, open water reservoirs are generally used, into which industrial wastewater also flows. Treatment technology is rarely available. Water treatment in the outdated municipal plants is a major problem.

Objective:
The objective of the Swiss Pavilion is to enable SME's from the water and wastewater technology sector to participate in WACEE 2023 in a cost-efficient way and to gain a concrete insight into the market situation of Ghana and West Africa.

Target Audience:
For all those who want to do business in West Africa in the environmental and energy sector, expand networks and win contracts at a high international level, WACEE in Accra is a must.
