Business Mission to Chongqing and Chengdu (incl. memorial concert for the Sichuan earthquake)
SCCC is organising a business mission to Sichuan in May 2018 on the occassion of the 10 year memorial of Sichuan earthquake.
Learn about the development of Southwest China and meet key persons in Chongqing and Chengdu, which will facilitate your business in that region.
During this mission, we will visit Chongqing and Chengdu and learn about the development of the southwest China. One of the highlight of the mission will be the 10 year memorial concert of the Sichuan earthquake in Longxing Town, which is jointly organised with the Swiss Consul General in Chengdu and the local government.
Between 2008-2010, Swiss companies and individuals joined forces in the SWISS Community Reconstruction Project and built a kindergarten in Longxing according to Swiss standard and quality.
The business mission is organised with the help of Sino Swiss Technopark Chongqing, which is in close contact with the Chongqing Government.
Date of mission: 7 - 12 May 2018
Locations: Chengdu, Chongqing, Longxing Town
Program: 6 Days, 5 Nights business trip from Zurich to Sichuan
7 May: Arrival in Chengdu
8 May: Visit the car manufacture Volvo and business dinner together with the Swiss Consulate Chengdu
9 May: Transfer to Chongqing and visit of the Exhibition Hall Chongqing and Raffle's city construction site, visit of the Liangjiang New Area followed by business dinner with Liangjiang New Area representatives
10 May: Business meeting with the Chongqing Government
11 May: Transfer to Longxing to visit the Longxing Kindergarten, a Swiss Community Project & attend the Memorial Concert of 10 Years Wenchuan Earthquake organised by the Swiss Consulate Chengdu
12 May: End of business mission, back to Switzerland or continuation of personal trip
