Maritime infrastructure and trade in Nigeria
Maritime trade accounts for 80% of the vehicular means of Nigeria’s international Trade. However, the Nigerian maritime industry has been facing numerous challenges over the years. Although the Government is making efforts to increase the development and performance of the maritime industry, there is still a very long way to go in making the maritime sector in Nigeria one of the best in the world.
