On 3 April 2019, SERV published its Annual report 2018. SERV finishes the financial year with positive company earnings of CHF 2.0 million that are, however, significantly below those of the preceding years. These financial statements are due to two important elements that exerted opposing effects: earned premiums increased by CHF 30.4 million over the previous year to a record of CHF 94.5 million, while loss expenses peaked at CHF 104.5 million. SERV issued 934 insurance policies and insurance commitments in principle in the year under review, one more than in the previous year.
