It has been announced that the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) intends to increase the number of e-commerce businesses from 500,000 in 2020 to one million by 2022. The government also introduced the Philippines E-Commerce Roadmap 2022, whose goal is to promote e-commerce adoption among SMEs.
